The Perfect Business...
Truly is a matter of opinion. It holds a different meaning for each of us based on our passions and desires in life. Discovering what we’re passionate about can be a soul searching endeavor.
If we look back in history utilizing the important lessons of business success, what you’ll discover is a large majority succeeded because they discovered a way to duplicate their business model.
One of the first businesses to model this started in the 1850s, you may even recognize the name I.M. Singer & Co. I can still remember my mom’s Singer sewing machine.
Yet, mass duplication of franchises did not really begin to take hold until the 1950s and 1960s.
These companies are part of our everyday life, yet they almost didn’t make it as some wanted this new form of business made illegal.
Imagine how different the U.S. and the world would look today if it was not for companies like Kentucky Fried-chicken, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Baskin-Robbins, 7-Eleven! Each of these companies thrived and succeeded because they were able to roll out marketing systems, essentially a cookie cutter system.
Starting a traditional franchise business is not something that everyone wants or can afford to do. It does not lend its self well to millions of businesses. Imagine if you had not one but several of these Franchises on every street in America, the majority would quickly fail.
Yet, many people still want to create a
home business, in which the can generate either a supplement to the current income or completely replace it. The good news is that many do each day throughout the world.
What options do we have for the perfect business?
Today, we have more opportunities than ever before in history to accomplish this. Still, it really depends on what we’re after. We have so many choices in front of us, it makes the decision difficult at best. Do you want to market strictly online, off-line, or a combination of both.
Today you can get started with very little money in;
- Direct Sales.
- Network Marketing.
- Affiliate Marketing.
Each of these different business types has its pros and cons. With direct sales - affiliate marketing you could find yourself competing with anywhere from thousands to millions of competitors. Typically direct sales and affiliate marketing have zero duplication, you have to ask yourself if this is important to you?
Network marketing, is patterned after a business model that utilizes duplication. No it is not a pyramid scheme, that’s illegal and no company will survive for long before they are shutdown!
With a network marketing business, we really only have 2 or 3 real competitors (or less) to compete with. The great concept behind network marketing is it allows products, and services to reach the market without the traditional expensive advertising employed with direct sales or affiliate marketing.
This is accomplished by tapping into our network of friends, family, co-workers etc...
Yet, this requires prior education on just how to accomplish this without alienating them.
With over 400+ companies today offering thousands of different products, your chances of finding something you can become passionate about are greatly increased.
